We need your help during National Only Citizens Vote Week.
National Only Citizens Vote Week (September 15-21, 2024):
This week was chosen because Constitution Day falls on September 17, 2024.
One of the biggest threats to election integrity is non-citizen voting. We need to educate voters, legislators, and others on this important issue. We will be doing just that during National Only Citizens Vote Week.
For these efforts to be successful, we need your help to:
- Wave signs at busy intersections. Locations TBD. We have signs but feel free to make your own too.
- Serve as one of our Sign Wave Coordinators. Tasks include:
- Recruiting volunteers
- Identifying venues and 2-hour time slots
- Coordinating the picking up and returning of signs and materials
- Taking photos and sending these to me for posting
- Contact federal and local elected officials, state legislators, and law enforcement.
- Publicize the importance of only citizen voting and our NC Constructional Amendment to specify that ONLY citizens may vote in our elections.
- Sign up now to wave signs at busy intersections and/or other roles at: https://www.signupgenius.com/.../10C0D48AAAA2DA6FEC61....
Please email Deanna De'Liberto at[email protected]if you have suggestions for where we should wave signs or would like more information regarding our Call to Action.
Thank you for doing your part to ensure that only citizens vote.
We need your help to protect the ballot. Poll Observers are needed to ensure that our elections are legal and fair. If our elections are not truly fair, we are not truly free. We need 300+ Poll Observers to serve during Early Voting and on Election Day. If everyone reading this message volunteers for just 2 shifts, we will have enough Poll Observers to protect the ballot. If you are serving as a Poll Worker (i.e. Chief Judge, Judge, or Assistant) you may NOT serve as a Poll Observer. Below is the link to sign up for specific shifts during Early Voting: Thank you to those of you who have already signed up for one or more shifts. Please note that the above link is for Early Voting ONLY. The link to sign up for shifts for Election Day will be provided once the sign up is completed. IMPORTANT:
Training is required for all new Poll Observers and anyone who served as a Poll Observer prior to 2023. Poll Workers (Judges) and Poll Greeters are encouraged to attend. We have two great training opportunities. Please see flyers below for details. Please register for the training date you prefer using the link below. Please note that if you served as a Poll Observer in 2023/2024, we will provide a refresher training - most likely via Zoom. OBSERVING ABSENTEE AND PROVISIONAL BALLOTS: We are looking for people to assist in observing absentee and provisional ballots. Location will be Downtown Greensboro (Guilford County Board of Elections or the Courthouse). Sign up at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0D48AAAA2DA6FEC61-50906435-observe We will have specific training via Zoom for this role. Join the North Carolina Election Integrity Team (NCEIT) We encourage you to join NCEIT so that you will have access to all the resources in the Member Resources section. Joining NCEIT is easy. Go to www.nceit.org and click the "JOIN US" button on the top.
Once you are approved, you will have access to all resources in the Member Resources section.
Thank you for helping to ensure that our elections are legal and fair. |
