Akir Khan is a success coach in the Student Success Program at High Point University.

Khan is responsible for supporting freshmen in their academic, personal, social, and career choices, as well as helping them adjust to their first year of college. Khan is also responsible for helping students get involved in programs designed to promote students’ success.

Khan previously worked at The Center of Creative Leadership in Greensboro. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He also holds a master’s degree in public affairs with a concentration in local government from UNC-Greensboro. Khan is also involved in numerous volunteer endeavors in the community, and served as a community adviser for HPU’s Model United Nations Club.
